Home cooked fresh food is served in Kingsley’s dining room every day. Girls are encouraged to make suggestions and give feedback about the meals and snacks on offer via a notice board message system, and comments are taken into consideration when menus are planned.

The first lunch sitting is for Preparatory School pupils, who are accompanied to the dining room by their teachers. They have a choice of a hot meat or vegetarian dish with accompaniments and/or salad and a pudding and fruit - the cost of which is included in the fees.

The youngest pre-school and Years 1 and 2 pupils eat in the Preparatory School “family style”, so that they can develop social skills and table manners.

Senior girls can choose from the hot menu, salad bar or a range of freshly baked filled rolls and sandwiches, fresh fruit and puddings during the second lunch sitting.  A wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold snacks is also available at morning break for Senior School pupils.
