Amy reaches National Riding Final for second year

Kingsley riding club member Amy Newcombe (Y7) has reached the National Schools’ Equestrian Society national championships for the second year running.

Her win in the 70cm class on her horse Mouseman at the joint Kingsley/Princethorpe inter-schools’ event makes her eligible for this prestigious event, which is one of the highlights of the riding year.

Year 8 student Evie Shrieve was also placed first in the combined individual dressage and show jumping event.

Other Kingsley girls who were placed during the two day event are:

Amy Newcombe: 3rd team dressage; 5th individual dressage & show jumping.

Jess Beards (Y12):  3rd team dressage; 6th individual dressage, 3rd joint team show jumping.

Chloe Bromilow (Y10): 5th individual show jumping and dressage.

Claudia Bowen (Y13): 4th individual dressage.
