Our Year 11 girls were all belles of the ball when they attended the traditional pre GCSE celebration dinner at a local hotel after their last day in school before the start of exams.
The fashion stakes were high as girls arrived in various modes of transport with an aura of glitz and glamour. A photographer was booked for the evening and this year the ball had a colour theme of pink.
The girls organised an Oscar awards ceremony with categories such as ' Next Olympian 2016', and 'Most likely to marry Prince Harry'. Nominees and winners were voted by the students and golden “Oscar” statues were presented by staff to the winners.
After a wonderful four course meal, the girls hit the dance floor and partied until midnight. The ball was a stunning affair organised by a committee of five students. Well done and congratulations to them!
