Year 13 girls headed off on their A Level study leave after a celebratory assembly and lunch marking their time at Kingsley. Many of them joined the School in Prep and have been with us over 10 years so it was a particularly poignant occasion for them.
They took the opportunity to highlight their personal achievements and ambitions for the future, thanking staff for the support they have given them over the years. There was a special presentation to Head of Sixth Form Mrs Jo Bailey.
Head teacher Ms Heather Owens compared the girls’ time at Kingsley to clay on a potter’s wheel, saying they started off “wobbly” and ended up as “works of art”.
She praised them for their commitment and loyalty to the school which was, she said, “exemplary.”
After the A Level exams the girls will get together for the last time for a celebration ball at a local hotel.
