The Cook Book Swap organised by The Kingsley School at the Royal Leamington Spa Food & Drink Festival was a great success!
Over the two day event hundreds of recipes were recycled as people exchanged their unwanted cook books for one from the school stand.
Some visitors to the Festival even made a special trip home or returned the next day to bring a book for something they wanted from the Swap!
There was so much interest in the books on the Kingsley stall, it was decided to allow people who didn’t have anything to swap to make a donation instead. This raised nearly £30 for Myton Hospice who had the stand next to ours.
PR and Marketing Coordinator Alison Radley and School Registrar Carole Watson would like to thank pupils and staff who helped them on the stall over the weekend, parents and pupils who came along to the event and everybody who donated cook books.
