We started the spring term with a ‘thought shower’ of all the people in our lives who help us. The children are learning how important it is to say ’thank you’ and we decided to write and decorate a special card to send to mummies and daddies, to thank them for looking after us. We enjoyed our walk to the post box.
Sam Fox, a veterinary nurse from Feldon’s Vets in Leamington, came to visit us this week. We have been learning how to ask questions and practised on Sam. We found out that she sometimes works at night, when we are tucked up in bed, and that the biggest animal she helped was a dog called a Great Dane. We introduced her to our class fish – Goldilocks, Pudsey and Mr. Big Eyes and showed her around our role play vets.
