In the run up to Wimbledon fortnight, Kingsley School hosted its annual tennis playday for budding young players in Years 5 and 6.
Girls from the Junior School were joined by pupils from two local schools for a day of skills and drills, techniques and tactics followed by games and a competition.
The sessions, at the school’s tennis courts, were run by two professional coaches who used a variety of fun techniques to help the 45 girls who took part to improve their skills.
