Making an Entrance

The appeal of a Kingsley education was evident when crowds of girls took the Entrance Exam to join the school in Year 7 this September.

It wasn’t all work and no play for the examinees, who had a break for hot chocolate and toast during the morning and a bag of Kingsley School goodies to take home after completing the tests.

Head teacher Ms Heather Owens is looking forward to meeting all the girls in the coming weeks when she interviews them before making a final decision and offering places.

“There were some inevitable nerves but most of the girls made new friends and enjoyed the experience.  The hot chocolate and the ‘wicked’ reward bags were obviously the best bits but many of the girls spoke of enjoying exercising their mental muscles again and the challenge of the tests themselves,” she says.
