Kingsley has appointed two new Head Girls and Sixth Form Leadership Team for the 2012/13 academic year.
Head Girls Victoria Inchley and Isabel Pickard have both been students at Kingsley for over eight years. At a special assembly to introduce themselves and fellow SFLT members to the rest of senior school they said they are “very excited at the prospect of being able to give something back to the school” during their year in office.
Among the things they pledged to do were:
- Organising an off-timetable charity day.
- Making stronger links with The Friends of Kingsley and Old Girls’ Association.
- Setting up a school Facebook page for students to post ideas and suggestions.
The new Deputy Head Girls are Zara Heathcote, Sophie Hiorns and Poppy Godwin with Vicky Hitchman, Sophie Habboo, Holly Shuttleworth, Jasmine Tooke and Verity Proctor-Smith as prefects.
They each have responsibility for:
Developing a stronger school community: Poppy Godwin.
Revitalising the School Council: Sophie Hiorns.
Developing links with local businesses: Zara Heathcote.
Liaising with Prep School: Sophie Habboo and Vicky Hitchman.
Charities Coordinator: Holly Shuttleworth.
Events & Public Relations: Jasmine Tooke.
Community liaison: Verity Proctor-Smith.
