Running with water was one way used by pupils at Kingsley to raise awareness of the plight of African children who have no running water.
Sixth Form prefects organised special sponsored races at sports day and organised a non-uniform day, making a total of £330 for Oxfam. The cash will be used to build wells and help transform schools in Mali, Africa - where many school pupils have to walk up to six kilometres a day to collect their daily water supply before lessons begin. Just £20 is enough to provide safe drinking water and a quality education for one child.
