Giant bubbles big enough to cover Prep pupils were one of the highlights of two days of Science Shows staged at Kingsley for our students and visitors from three local schools.
The Science Museum Outreach Team took time out from the famous London museum where they work most of the year to bring a series of fast-paced and fact-packed shows to the school.
They used a wide range of fun props, including a toy frog on a skateboard, fake blood and characters made of plasticine, to explain properties of materials, Newton’s Laws of Motion, the human digestive system and many other aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Laughter filled the school hall as the lively Science Museum staff performed experiment after experiment in a fun and entertaining manner.
Sessions were held for all ages from the youngest Prep pupils to students just about to take their GCSEs. For them science revision has never been such fun!
