Kingsley pupils Mariella Bassano and Victoria Green-Armytage are making their West End début at one of London’s most famous theatres on Sunday 29th November 2009, when they take part in a spectacular musical extravaganza at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket. Victoria and Mariella, who successfully auditioned for their rôles, will perform in a Tim Burton style musical, which has been written for the event by Stagecoach Theatre School, Rugby.
Over three hundred young performers from fourteen Stagecoach schools are taking part in the show, which will feature an eclectic mix of musical styles, popular shows, famous songs and original work, and which aims to raise funds for the children’s charity InterAct.
InterAct is part of a charitable trust formed by Stagecoach. Founded in 2002, the charity runs inclusive performance workshops designed to make drama, music and movement accessible to young people aged 10 – 16.
It will be a very exciting time for Mariella and Victoria; we wish them every success!
