The Real Game, March 06
On Tuesday 14 March Year 9 girls spent a day following a careers' exploration programme called the Real Game.  With help and support from form staff and Head of Careers Mrs Lewis, the girls explored various aspects of working life, including qualifications, salaries, hours of work and budgeting, both in terms of money and  time.  They "lived" in small community groups and at the end of the day had to plan a holiday to include all members of the group, taking into account each individual's financial situation and holiday entitlement.
All concerned, both girls and staff, enjoyed a stimulating and thought-provoking day, thanks to Mrs Lewis's excellent organisation and hard work.
SE Jessett, Head of Year 9
