Audiences sat enchanted for all four nights of the Junior School performance of Return of the Glass Slipper, an imaginative reworking of the Cinderella story. The lead roles were shared between two casts of Year 6 girls, each giving two performances, while girls in Years 3, 4 and 5 formed the choir, raising the roof with their enthusiastic singing. There were some truly inspirational performances and a very memorable pumpkin coach! The colourful costumes and scenery added their own special magic.
This was an impressive production which took full advantage of the school’s excellent sound and lighting systems. Tiered seating allowed the whole audience an uninterrupted view of all the action.
Our grateful thanks go in particular to Mrs Vanessa Comer (Director) and Mrs Claire Taylor (Musical Director).
