Oliver!

Capacity audiences on all three nights were enchanted by the Performing Arts Department’s production of the well-known musical, Oliver. Who will forget Harriet Smith as the tragic Nancy or Dr Robertson as Mr Bumble canoodling with Lizzie Cooper? Lily Hall was perfectly cast as the eponymous Oliver, Sophie Mobberley made an ideal Artful Dodger, Lissie Loft a menacing Bill Sykes, and Zoë Mobberley gave a delightfully swaggering performance as Fagin, but all the actors and dancers performed with gusto, making this a really excellent show.
