Leaving Staff

The time has come to say a fond farewell to a number of members of staff. Both Mr Crump, Deputy Head (Curriculum and Administration) and Mrs Ryninks, Deputy Head of the Junior School are becoming headteachers:

Mr Crump
Mr Crump
Mr Crump has been appointed Headmaster of Hethersett Old Hall School in Norwich. Although he is looking forward to moving to his new school, Mr Crump claims that he will miss us all, commenting: ‘I've very much enjoyed my time at Kingsley and shall be sad to leave my friends at the school and the girls, who have been a delight to work with over the last five years.’ We will miss his laid-back approach and irreverent sense of humour.

Mrs Ryninks is to be Head of the Abbey School in Reading, a junior school of about 350 children. Mrs Ryninks praises 'the wonderfully supportive community at Kingsley. I've thoroughly enjoyed being here and have learned a great deal, but it's time for a new challenge.'

Mr Menashe, Head of Classics, is moving to Bablake School. He has really enjoyed being at Kingsley and teaching girls for the first time. Mr Menashe will be missed by his colleagues, who describe his witty sense of humour. 'He's calm, dependable and lovely to have around', comments Mrs Morgan (anonymously).

Miss Mahé
Miss Mahé
Miss Mahé is to begin a GTP (a graduate teacher programme) at Myton School, after beating off considerable competition. Miss Mahé says that she has had an amazing time at Kingsley: 'It's been a great way to start my teaching career. Before, I thought about being an English teacher in France, but now I want to stay in England and be a French teacher. I will really miss everybody here though!'

Miss Mahé has been a real asset to the language department and to the LRC. Mrs Harris comments: 'Mélanie is so calm, efficient and dedicated that she's been a joy to work with. We all wish her every success in September.'

Best wishes from all the staff at Kingsley to our departing colleagues. We hope that they will be very happy in their new schools and that they will stay in touch.
