Recycled Dinosaurs

As part of our topic Dinosaurs, the children made their own recycled dinosaurs, using things we usually throw away.

Christmas Show

In December the Early Years children performed in their Christmas show all about snow.  The Reception snowmen delivered their lines beautifully, speaking both loudly and clearly for even the parents at the very back to hear.  The Nursery charmed us all with a delightful snowflake dance and all of the children deserve our congratulations for learning to sing so many songs so marvellously!

Ash End House Farm
In December the Nursery, Reception, Transition and Year 2 children went on a fabulous trip to Ash End House Farm.  We had a wonderful time singing to all of the animals that we met.  We were even lucky enough to hold some baby chicks and then feed the goats, sheep, ducks and reindeer!

After our tour of the farm, we took part in a lovely nativity play, with a real donkey. We ate a delicious packed lunch in a delightfully warm picnic barn, after which we visited Father Christmas in his sparkling grotto.

Before we headed back home, we had a play in the play barn and then went to spend our pocket money in the farm shop.  A couple of us even had a nap on the way home!

An absolutely super time was had by all.  Many thanks to all of our wonderful parents and helpers.
