Château de la Baudonnière
Despite a last-minute change of accommodation and a VERY rough crossing, thirty-four Year 10 pupils and four members of staff greatly enjoyed their end of term trip to the Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy.

The girls took part in a wide variety of activities, including climbing, fencing, circus skills and initiative challenges - all instructions being given in French - as well as French lessons.

In addition, there were visits to the market in Dinan, where girls had to complete several tasks which included speaking French to passers-by.

Staff at the Château were very complimentary about the girls' positive attitude and the progress they made in both comprehension and spoken French. We were also delighted to receive very favourable comments about the girls' behaviour throughout our stay.

My grateful thanks to my colleagues Mrs Baker, Mrs Horvath and Mlle Mahé, who worked so hard to make the trip a success.
