Year 12 Geography Field Trip As the end of term approached, Mrs Bailey and Mrs Watson looked forward to a quiet weekend away in Somerset. Alas, it was not to be - Year 12 Geographers joined them in the minibus. After a search for the minibus keys and a brief detour to Leek Wootton, the journey south to Nettlecombe Court began.
Day two took us to Taunton to carry out urban surveys and on the third day we travelled to Braunton Burrows to investigate the sand dunes.
The weekend was memorable for a number of reasons: ruining the school camera, someone’s birthday; surprise guest arrivals and the uncharacteristic and slightly manic behaviour of the two newly elected Head Girls.
Thank you to the students for making the weekend so much fun and to Mrs Watson for her hard work and company.
J Bailey
