Art Club

In support of Kingsley’s global schools partnership project, pupils taking part in last year’s art club undertook a recycling project with a difference, when they redesigned and decorated jackets found in charity shops. Each girl also painted a self-portrait on her jacket in the style of the artist Julian Opie.

Art & Design Exhibition

At the end of the summer term, Kingsley held its first joint art and design exhibition. Work from GCSE, AS and A Level students was on display and there was a fashion show of textiles work completed by examination classes. Refreshments were kindly provided by the Friends of Kingsley. The event was a great success and we plan to make this an annual event.
